PLW1000 Setup question

Hi, I've just set up a PL1000 & PLW1000; I can connect my laptop wirelessly to the WiFi adapter , but it says "Connected, No internet". The lights on the 'base' Adapter are :Power, green....Ethernet, green.....Pick a Plug is off. The lights on the 'WiFi' A dapter are: WiFi, blue....Pick a plug, red....power, green....ethernet is off.

I did a laptop connectivity troubleshoot and the result was ""wireless connection doesnt have a valid IP configuration.  I have not tried the reset yet. Any ideas?

    correction, the Pick a Plug lite on the base Adapter is Red

      Try moving the adapters to the same room and trying them. If the pick-a-plug light is off or red, it means poor connection/no connection. 

      And many things impact powerline connections. these include:

      cheap made electronics

      gfci outlets

      arc fault breakers

      surge protectors

      high draw appliances

      bad/cheap cell phone chargers

      distance

      old/poor wiring
