Port Forwarding EX6100 extender
Is it possible to port forward through a EX6100 extender?

Only the router/gateway can port forward, the extender does not have any routing capability, but any associated/attached devices that access the LAN via the extender can be targets for the router’s port forwarding rules.

My router is a SBG6580, I have a camera system with a DVR that I'm attempting to view through the internet. I can get it to work if I connect the DVR to the router and enable port forwarding for the ip of the DVR in the router.
Working setup = Internet IP 71.199.199.199, Router IP 192.168.0.1, Dvr IP 192.168.0.60. Port Forwarding enabled in router, internal ip 192.168.0.60, external ip 0.0.0.0. port 90
Attempted setup that doesn't work with extender EX6100 = Internet ip 71.199.199.199, Router ip 192.168.0.1, Extender Internet IP 192.168.0.16, Extender External IP 192.168.1.20, Dvr ip 192.168.1.60, Port Forwarding enabled in router, internal ip 192.168.0.16, external ip 0.0.0.0. port 90 There is an option to add a static route in the extender setup, that is currently blank.
Please help, networking is not my strength.

In your attempted setup you are setting the Extender IP as the target for the port forward, the target IP should still be the DVR IP. The extender will have no idea what to do with the data that arrives.
I use an EX6200 at a relative’s house in much the same way. A Sky router handles the port forwarding to the DVR, and has a reserved IP address for it. The EX6200 simply passes data on to the DVR and plays no real functional part in the forwarding, there is no specific configuration change needed in the EX6200.

The WN3000RP blocks port forwarding. See https://community.netgear.com/t5/WiFi-Range-Extenders-Repeaters/Netgear-WN3000RP-blocks-port-forwarding/m-p/1022767#M11767
