Setting country code on EX6150
I am setting up my EX6150 and one thing that annoys me is that I cannot set a country code on the device. It has now defaulted to FR and I am not located in France. This might seem like a small issue but since Apple products checks the wifi country code to say what country it thinks you are in when you set them up and I do a lot of testing it is constantly thinking I am in France. So, anywhere I can change it?Adding an ex7000 to my r7000 with smart connect enabled.
Hi, I am currently using a r7000 with smart connect enabled. I know some of you do not like smart connect, but it works fine here and makes it easy for users. I am about to add an ex7000 and was wondring how it will work with the r7000 with smart connect? If I have to give up smart connect so be it, but I am hoping I do not have to. Does anyone know how I need to go about setting this up correctly?
WN3000RP signal ext
I have the WN3000RP signal extender, that is extending my signal from my main router, which is a Cisco Linksys EA3500. However I have a older Netgear router which is a WGR614v10. I cannot seem to get the netgear and the Cisco linksys router to connect as in repeat or bridge, (unless i am doing something wrong). So I thought I would extender the signal with the extender and tehn connect the Netgear router to the extender as a bridge or repeater. Any advice? Thank you in advance.

I just bought a Netgear EX3700-100PES Wlan Range Extender and successfully installed it as an access point. I'm having two questions: 1) Can I completely turn off the wifi signal (at night) based on a schedule? 2) Can I completely turn off all the status lights on the Extender? Hi, I have a WN3000rpv3 wifi extender and recently i've been having a problem with the router light not being on at all. I've tried to reset my router as I thought that might be the problem. Naught his product after reading reviews! The box stats 'boost your existing wifi & deliver great wireless speed where signal is intermittent or weak' My connect is so week i can't load even a email on my iPad! The device is in good range of the excisti g wifi unit but I'm still only getting about 3.1kbps one day and 400kbps another (these changes can be in a matter of seconds)! I stream a lot of photos and videos via the Internet any advice on how to get a strong And consistent connection speed, is there any setting I could change in the configuration of the extender! Hi, I use my extender to connect to a wifi network that uses captive portal to login. Near the extender there are 3 APs with the same SSID but different channels. The extender sometimes switches among them, probably depending on signal variations. The problem is that when it switches, I need to login again at the captive portal. Is there a way to specify which SSID AND channel to extend? In this way, the extender would remain always connected to the same AP ... thanks a lot. DavideWN3000RP and captive portal
I succesfully connected to a wifi that requires login through a captive portal. Each device needs to login. Unfortunately some devices like TVs and Consoles cannot connect this way. I am wondering if there is a way to login once within the extender menu and let all devices access without login. Thanks
