Power light LED stays amber all the time

Worked well for months but cannot reset with amber power light on always

sounds like something got corrupted. you can try recoving via tftp.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide

I'm sure I have the wrong end of the stick but the original question is specifically about the EX6110 which doesn't have an ethernet socket so with the best will in the world I'm never going to be able to connect it to a wired computer. I also note that the EX6110 is not listed in the applicable models in the right hand column
I have had the extender less than 3 weeks and, up until last night, it has been perfect; now I appear to have a very expensive nightlight and instead of working from home I spent most of today definitely not working from home but trying to reconnect to the internet.
