Powerline 1000 wifi won’t turn on again

Just bought this unit a couple hours ago. Plugged it into the router and all lights came on immediately. Plugged the adaptor into an outlet in my garage and all lights came on immediately to it as well. After watching it for 10 minutes, I noticed that the pick a plug LED was amber. I turned off the adaptor and moved it to another outlet closer to the router. I tuned the switch back on, but the adaptor won’t turn on. I verified that I have power at that outlet by plugging in a corded drill. Help!

    I know this sounds stupid but it does have a power switch on the side of it. Did you try turning on/off?  whenever the lights don't turn on at all, its usually a function of the power switch. Or something was broken while unplugging. 

    Or did pushing and holding the reset button while powered on?
