Powerline Wifi 1000 PL1000 newly installed but asking for password
Hello, I just bought this Netgear PL1000 and installed per directions. When I go onto any device imac, ipad, Samsung phone, etc, in attempt to connect it is asking for a WPA2 password to continue. I did not set one up yet so not sure why it is asking. I tried "password", etc but those did not work. I tried factory reset but that did not change anything. Any suggestions before I return this unit to the store?

You will want to log into the extender to setup the wireless network for the extender you will want to have a computer connected to the extender on the network and then type www.mywifiext.net into your browser here it should ask for a login which you will use admin/password to login. Now you should be able to set the wireless password to what you want.
