Problem with EX6200 running in 5 ghz with R6200 router
So I recently bought a R6200 router. I have my 2.4ghz and 5ghz radio enabled. I also understand to connect to the 5ghz band my devices must support that. None of them pick up the 5ghz SSID which is fine.
But I bought this EX6200 AC extender thinking it would connect to the 5ghz band and anything connected to it via cat5 cable would be using that band.
I have set up the extender using WPS and both 2.4ghz and 5ghz lights flash but when it finally connects only the 2.4ghz lights up.
How do I get the extender to connect to the router via the 5ghz ac band?
