Proxy Mode?

Hi Netgear community, I have just purchased this router really impressed with the range with it. But I have a issue where static IP addresses that I have assigned to clients connected to the extender now use a virtual mac address which means their using a dynamic IP address assigned from the router. As now the router see's them like new devices.

 

Is there a way to stop this?

Currently have the router setup in Fast Mode Router-to-Extender in 5GHz only and Extender-to-Device in 2.4GHz only. I would like to alter this if not will this feature come in the future? As bandwidth on our network is at a premium trying to give everyone a decent amount without users pulling down the network.

    Hi NitrousX,

                           I would recommend you to reserve IP address for the devices on your router using the virtual MAC address which can resolve your issue.
