R6300 As Access Point with C6300
I set up R6300 as an access point, went to Advance wireless setting and enabled the AP mode. I have the latest firmware. When I try to connect my smartphone(?) Nokia 1520 to my Wi-Fi network, after entering the password I get the following message: The Wi-Fi network Netgear72-5G didn't respond.Try again later.
When my wife tries to conect her Motorola Motto E 3rd generation it sys:"Obtaining IP address .....Connecting ... obtaining IP address" but never connects.
Can anybody help?
The R6300 was initially used as router, after that I used it as bridge and now I'm trying to use it as an AP. Maybe this can help you.

Hi tatealex,
1. Does the wired connection to the R6300 work?
2. Have you tried resetting the R6300?
3. Just for confirmation, do you have an Ethernet cable connecting from the C6300 going to the WAN port of the R6300?
4. What are the status of the LED's on the R6300?
5. You can check the steps on how to setup the router in AP mode on page 100 of the user manual linked below.
