R6300 v2 Bridge Mode
Hi everyone,
I’m a Noob but wanted to setup my R6300 as a bridge.
Essentially I have a Rogers Rocket modem router (Hitron) which is sending out my SSID 2.4 and 5GHZ.
I’m considering buying a wireless extender however I have this router and wanted to turn it into a wireless bridge. I do not want to connect this R6300 to my main router via wire, rather have it in a room further away.
I keep getting stuck. I reset the router went into advanced settings and clicked bridge mode and selected the WiFi that my other router had as 5G but it wouldn’t work and then I couldn’t get back into the router I hadn’t to reset it.
Any tips or step by step instructions?
I’d really appreciate it! Thanks!

Also, please check if you put the correct password of your main network on R6300 which might be a cause for your issue.
