The easiest thing to do is use same SSID and security If it does not latch onto to strongest AP Signal, for IOS devices toggle WIFI OFF and ON for PC just disconnect then reconnect it's quite simple and works great. I do more than I care to admit when testing. Or reboot device as your signal level drops.
