Range Extender EX6110 AC1200

HI

 

Range Extender AC1200 

 

Model EX6110

 

I have set this up all the lights are green i can connect with my android phone to the netgear wifi link 2GEXT 
but my andoid box will not connect to it, i can click on the connection and enter the password put it just hangs there with the spinning icon, when i connect back to my router it connects no problem, but i could do with a stonger connection thats why i bought the extender. any ideas?

    What router are you connecting it to? 

    What firmware is on the extender? 

    are you attempting setup via wps or using the installation assistant?

      IThe router is a vodaphone B07669 . I updated the firmware so its the latest version. initially i tried the wps connection but the password didn't work, so i used the assitant.My android box is only 2.4ghz so i set the router and extender accordingly. but no joy 

      i'm going to return it tommorow as im certain it will not work, thanks anyway.
