Well in that case you could try using Fastlane with the connection from the extender to the router using the 5GHz band. You may possibly have range issues with that though, but it might be worth testing it out.

I'm having range issues, how is it possible that I'm having ping issues using my lan cable?
I never experienced these problems with my router.
I wanted to buy a range extender to connect my devices via cable but apparently that does not work either

Posts 1 and 3 suggest that the issue is wireless, and potentially with repeating, are you now saying that a client which is wired to the EX7000 has an issue?
Otherwise, wireless repeating using the same frequency band e.g. 2.4GHz can cause delays because it is not possible to both receive data and transmit at the same time on the same channel, this is a limitation of an extender which can only be overcome if the device has multiple radios.
