Re: EX3700 lan port not working - solved

This is only a hint about solving the problem of not being able to connect a device (a windows PC in my case) to a working range extender via LAN port.

After a long time I found the cause in an unexpected place: When connecting my PC to the EX3700 it gets handed over to my fritz box with its own (the PC's) ethernet mac adress. And of course that was unknown to the fritz WiFi, even if it had been  connected directly to fritz via LAN before.

So with my fritz WiFi security configured to "only connect known devices" refused the PC as a wireless device. Easy.

Uncheck option, connect PC, recheck option, works.
