Roaming with a WN2000RPT
So here is my situation. My house is basically split in half when it comes to wifi due to concrete and piping. I have a Belkin router but I bought a Netgear WN2000RPT to help bridge the gap. I set it up easy enough and it works great. I can finally use my laptop on both sides of my house.
Now my issue. I didn't realize that an extender would create a separate SSID. My ability to share between them is a bit weird. I can stream to my Xbox (which is connected via ethernet to my router) while on my extender but two computers connected wirelessly two different devices cannot share files. Is it possible for this to happen or am I looking for something else instead of an Extender.
Thank you for any advice.

- tpcguyGuideHi,
That's possible, just connect a PC to the extender (disable the W/L capability of the PC) then access the mywifiext.net or mywifiext.com, go to W/L settings then change the SSID of your Extender network and apply. There you go!
