There's a 5 Ghz network (as well as 2Ghz)

Question

available on an Iphone 5 but this 5 Ghz network doesn't show on Iphone 4s.  There is no 5 Ghz light on the WN3500RP extender and the extender connects to NETGEAR WNR3500-100NAS which is not dual band. So is this a 5Ghz network to the extender from the iphone 5 only or what?

iPhone 4s doesn't support 5Ghz. iPhone 5 does.
