Trying to connect hotspot to range extender....help!

We are in an area that we are forced to use our Verizon hotspot as our internet connection.  I bought a EX2700 thinking that I can connect it wirelessly to the hotspot and then I can connect a security system to the EX2700 via ethernet.  Can anybody tell me how to make this connection?  thanks alot!

    Hello APL1234

     

    If you hotspot has a WPS button you should be able to connect that way if not you will need to connect to the extender and go to www.mywifiext.net then do the setup and connect to the aircards wireless network.
