Unable to connect Netgear EX6120 to Virgin Hub via Ethernet.

Hello, I want to set up my Netgear EX6120 extender. I turned it on and plugged the Ethernet cable into the extender. I then ran the cable to my Virgin Hub 4. But I can't connect it to my router. The "Router" LED on the Netgear stays off.

    when hardwired in, the EX6120 would need to be setup in access point mode and not extender mode. 

    Have you ran setup in access point mode?
