Unable to connect to wn1000rp

I have just purchased a fire stick and had kodi installed. I had to change a setting on the router to get it to work. I had to disable smart set up. Since then the extender won't pick up the router. I have tried setting it up manually but nothing works!! Anyone had the same issue or knows what to do, the wife needs to check here Facebook in bed and is to tight to use her data allowance ha ha thanks for any help in advance 🤔
