Uninstall netgear extender WN3000RP

I had one of these and it didn't work well so had to return it.

Now whenever I open IE I get "Netgear WN3000RP" displayed in the tab heading before he goes to Google (as its my homepage).

How do I get rid of this?

I have tried to go to www.mywifiext.net but I get a "Oops page" that states:
Oops!
