Using my Wifi Extender with ethernet connection to my smart TV

Has anyone experienced this problem ? I currently have a Samsung Smart TV and its currently connected to the Internet using the Wifi Extender with ethernet.

When I'm on PC and checking my wireless connection which are all secure. I noticed one connection listed as 'Living Room TV.b' - Which isn't secure....  😞

this is screen shot of my wireless connections

How do I go about making sure that this connection is secure ??

Please note that I have hidden my Wifi Extender connections which has an 'EXT' on the end..

this is what I have now:

AC750 WiFi Range Extender
Model EX6100v2

any help would be greatly appreciated..

thanks

What tells you that the connection isn't secure?

What does the anonymous smart TV's setup routine say about wifi security?

When it comes to wifi security, this is more in the hands of the main router than your EX6100v2 extender.

Michael is perfectly right: For whatever reason, the AP of this extender (just duplicating the main router WiFi network name AND the security is not configured for WPA2-PSK or the like.
