Using N300 Wireless extender ethernet port for a desktop

Hi

There is an ethernet port on the bottom of the extender. Can I use it internet access by plugging the ethernet cable from a desktop computer into it? I tried but the computer does not appear to see the internet connction.

    yes you should be able to use this port if the extender is connect via wireless to your main router.
