Verizon FIOS and Need for Wifi Extender

Wifi access is spotty in 2nd floor of house despite Verizon Wifi Extender.  Need to obtain steady 5g wifi signal on 2nd floor.

Current setup

- Verizon router G-1100 for 75Mbps/75Mbps and higher in basement

- Verizon Fios Network Extender in 2nd floor and connected via cable box

A few questions

- Will the EX7000 be compatible with Verizon FIOS?

- Can the EX7000 be connected to the Network Extender via Cat 5 cable since the Network Extender has ethernet ports

- If compatible and can connect to Network Extender, will it provide the reliable and steady 5g signal?

- How do you setup the EX7000 on the Network Extender?
