website setup page not working

not able to access the setup web page, 'mywifieext.net/mywifiext.com/192.168.1.250', I've tried on Oprea/Crome/Explore/Firefox and keep getting 'you are not connected to your extneder's wifi network. Please check your current connection and try again.' I have the extender contected to the router by ethernet cable and I have all green on the lights.  I've tried looking across the web but have not found an answear yet, I've had the unit for several years and have never previously had this isssue but it has been over a year since I went to the setup page, please help.
