Which one is better: WN3000RP or EX2700?

Hello,

I was researching on buying a Wi-Fi range extender for my home and found the following two, which fits my budgets and needs:

Now, I am kind of confused which one of these two are better. The price difference is not much, and from description in the Netgear site, both looks functionally same. Can some one in the community help me to make a wise decision? I am mostly concerened about the following things:

1. Which one is a newer model and likely to be supported for a longer time (from firmware update perspective)?

2. Which one has a better Wi-Fi signal range?

3. Any known bugs/issues in either of the two.
