Wifi Extender 6120

I have set this up correctly but internet it not available on 5Gz. On my main router the both the 2.4 and 5 wifi signals are transmitted perfectly and no issues with the internet.But from the extender only 2.5 works and though my device can see the 5gz extended signal and connects there is no internet available. Tried every thing but not sure what the issue is?

 

Any ideas?

    Hi Topi,

     

    Welcome to the community!

     

    1. What is the firmware version of the extender?

    2. Have you tried resetting the extender?

    3. Does the issue persist on all your devices when connected to the 5GHz band of the extender?

    4. Have you tried changing the wireless channel for the 5GHz band on the main router?

        Hello,

        Sorry have been extremely busy. Unfortunately it doesnt work!!! I beleive it is not connecting to the 5G reception from my router. I have attached some pics and hope it can help to throw some light on my issue. My 5G connection from the Asus router works with all devices without any issues. Can connect on the 5G extend....but no internet. Please help.
