1. What is the firmware version of the extender?
2. Does the issue persist if it is setup closer to the router (between 5 to 10 feet) with a much shorter cable (for isolation)?
3. Have you tried using a different Ethernet cable?
4. Have you tried connecting it to a different Ethernet port on the router's end?
5. It is possible that 50 feet is too great of a distance for a consistent connection.
