Wifi extender EX6150

Hi

today i updated the firmware on the above device. it now wont work all i have is a flashing green power light, i have tried the following

On/Off

Factory reset

Pluging in to PC with Ethernet

Pluging in to router

i still have the same problem, can anyone advise how i fix this. its now out of warranty and those lovely people at Netgear want me to pay for the privilage of upgrading firmware they supplied. i am a little Pis sed off.

any help would be greatly appreciated, before i smash the thing to peices and buy an edimax air.

ps i need the extender for wifi in the garden workshop (man cave)
