Wifi Extender password

Hello, I just bought the EX2700 N300 WiFi Range Extender and I have set it up without a problem but can´t connect to it because it doesn´t accept the password of my modem and the instructions said that I should use the same password.  I have try reseting the extender and reseting my modem 2 times but still can´t connect to it.  Can someone please help me with this? Thank You very Much!  Alex.

    Are you using simple alphanumeric characters in the passphrase? Have you tried temporarily changing to a very simple passphrase e.g. 1234abcd?

     

    What is the manufacturer and model number of the modem?
