Wifi extender setup

Hi - I just had a major power outage due to a natural disaster. My extender reset and I was using the online tool to get it up and running when suddenly it just shut down and I can't get back to it. I can't connect to the internet now, the wifi is there but it says my password is wrong! I did not change the password, not even in my recent setup. I tried power cycling the extender but it's not working. Help!

    Which Netgear model is this?

     

    Have you tried to reset it to factory defaults?

     

    There is a chance that the power outage killed the thing. There may have been some nasty voltage spikes on the mains that wrecked the adapter. If you have a spare lying around you could try that.
