Wifi Extender

WPS is how I'm connecting, however any instances of the wifi extender interfering with the actual router? I'm having intermittent internet disconnects on a PC that's hard wired into the actual router. I unplug the extender and the PC stays connected, plug it back into the wall, it goes out. Frustrating considering it's Netgear router and Netgear wifi extender.

Are you having Ip conflicts do you notice when the PC goes out in the bottom left hand corner of your screen does a yellow triangle show up over the internet connection?
