WiFi extender
I own a NetGear79 (model100C6B4FC2CC) which works well for me inside the house. Unfortuanately I added an outside camera system that is wifi connected and my home is a stucco on metal lathe making my home a Faraday Cage. I am looking for a secure amplifier/extender that would connect to my WiFi without the button, as the 79 does not have tha capability and would also be password safe. My plan is to put the amplifier in a window of a bedroom that looks at the camera and this would allow connection.
Can anyone offer a model that is not too expensive as I have been retired since 2003 and trust me not much in the way of an increase income.

Which Netgear device is this? That isn't a model number. (Deleted for security reasons.)
NetGear79 is probably the original SSID.
Look at the label on the thing for the modem number.

The 100C6B4FC2CC is the MAC and the only other number is the SERIAL which is 5KS30877A0FBE and of course the password is on the label. The camera is about 30 feet away but the key problem is the metal lathe that blocks radio signals.
I am an amateur radio operator and can't use a handheld rig inside my house, have to step outside the house to be heard, and then the signal is strong for a handheld.

still doesn't identify which one you have.
and you've already identified that your metal lathe is causing your issues (faraday cage).
If you truly need to fix it, hardwiring in an outdoor access point.
