Wifi Extenders and Captive Portal

Can these Wifi Extenders receive, amplify and broadcast/transmit a signal from a public wifi network that is behind a Captive Portal with Web Authentication?

1. NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 Desktop WiFi Range Extender (EX7000-100NAS)

2. NETGEAR AC1200 Desktop WiFi Range Extender (EX6200)

I live in a Public Housing Project that uses XfinityWifi (Comcast) hotspot, which requires a Web Authentication log-in through the Captive Portal.

I don't get very good signal in my apartment, but the signal is there, just weak.

No they can not connect to networks with web authentication.

You need something that supports wisp mode.

Check into gl.inet's line of travel routers. They have wisp mode.
