wifi repeater and connexion
WN3500 Rp : works great as repeater. .. But is it possible to use it to extend a wifi tbat requires connexion ? Works great home as a repeater of my own "internet box".... but while on holiday in ...
The repeater is probably not going to work with a Wi-Fi connection that requires a login (aka a captive portal).
Some captive portals track logged in clients by MAC address, in which case a travel router that has the ability to change its MAC address would work. The idea is to first log in to the captive portal with a computer. Then switch to using the travel router.
