If the ethernet devices still work, then the issue is likely the wifi access point.
The WG602v4 is around ~10 years old, and the wifi speeds are very slow by current standards. So I'd consider getting a new wifi access point. What model router do you have, and what internet speed are you getting from Comcast?

Hi, sorry for the delay in reply but the pc had suddenly stopped working (wouldn't turn on).
I mentioned previously actually, that the modem is a Surfboard SB6141 that goes into a TP Link router and some other TP Gigabit thing and idk what that does. Also, the phones stopped working a couple days after the WIFI. The phones are through the Internet via Ooma. I guess that means it's not the wifi?
I personally find nothing wrong with WG602v4. It seems fast to me, enough that I can watch vids on YouTube and that's all I really need. I would like to avoid spending the money on anything if at all possible.
I read through the manual and nothing in it helped.
Please understand too that I am not tech savy. I litterally had to look up what an Ethernet is when I read your post and still have only a vague idea. I was trying very hard to not lose any of the original settings but it looks like I accidentally reset everything when I unknowingly did a "hard reset". I'm at a total loss now.I don't see a way to edit so let me add this: I tried to go through the steps in the NetGear manual for inital setup but when going to http://192.168.0.227 I get an error saying the page will not load.
I realised also that this home network is not set up like most. When the house was built in 2001 there were... I guess you would say ports? for each room, to plug into the cable / Internet. So the modem and router and whatever are in the basement, but the NetGear thing is up in the bedroom and uses an ethernet cable to plug into a splliter that then plugs into the wall. The SmartTV is on the splitter as well but that still works.
I don't know if this is relevant. I sort of inherited the house and stuff and don't have a clue. I just know that this is definately not how the manual showed it being set up.Note I don't work for Netgear, and never owned this particular product. So I can only give general advice.

That ethernet icon should be either solid green or blinking green. So check that first.

Note the steps before that in the manual:
- Prepare a computer with an Ethernet adapter. If this PC is already part of your network, record its TCP/IP configuration settings.
- Turn on your computer and configure the PC with a static IP address of 192.168.0.210 and 255.255.255.0 for the Subnet Mask..
- Connect an Ethernet cable from the WG602v4 to your PC.
Unfortunately those steps aren't optional (and steps 1,2 require some technical knowledge to execute). Were you able to do them?
Also, are you certain you did a hard reset (inserting a paper clip or pin into the reset button)? How long did you push the button? If you know how to log into your internet router, you could look at it's attached device list. If the extender wasn't reset, it might show up there (with a different IP address).
