Wired Internet but Wireless internet is Intermittent - I can connect wirelessly to all devices.

Just installed today and the wireless works great.  Wired connections are fine when I first turn on the device, but then they lose connectivity.  Have to reboot the extender to get them working again.

    Welcome to the community, garydidio

    How is the extender configured?

Is it in AP or Extender mode?

Make sure that there are no other devices that may interfere with the wireless signal.

You may try to move the extender closer to the main wireless source and see if it's a distance problem or it may be too close.

Also, try to play around with the wireless channel and see if it will help.

Hi Elaine, The device is in Extender mode and wireless is not the problem - it works great. I am having intermittent connectivity with the wired connections. After a while, they stop working and I am unable to log into the device using the wired connections. Wireless continues to work well and I can log in using the wireless connections. I end up having to reboot the device to get the wired connections working again.

Check if the devices are still getting IP addresses.

Change as well the Ethernet cable.

If devices disconnect, do you still have lights on the Ethernet port?
