Hi AdrienMcG,
1. You can find the firmware version by accessing the extenders UI using the IP address assigned to it by your router.
2. To confirm, does the extender show up as a connected device when you access the main router's UI?
3. The wireless channel settings will be on your main wireless router's UI.

Hi AdrienMcG,
Welcome to the community!
1. What is the firmware version of the extender?
2. Does the MYGICA 495 Max successfully connect to the extender's signal?
3. Have you tried resetting the extender?
4. Have you tried changing the wireless channel?

Hi , thanks for the reply and welcome !
1) how would I see the firmware version ?
2) Yes the signal is there and the .EXT name appears on the TV box wifi list. It shows a really strong signal but will not connect to the internet, so I can't stream using that strong signal. However my phone picks up the same .EXT signal in the same room as the TV and connects to the internet without a problem. So it appears to be something between the extender and the TV box that is problematic. Next to the signal strength indicator ( on the TV) it shows full strength but says " No internet conection"
3) I did do a reset by poking a toothpick into the reset hole and reset it again , but no change.
4) I haven't seen any setting to change the wireless channel.
So I am back to using my crappy signal that functions , but drops the connection from time to time.Very frustrating having spent the money to improve the signal.
I appreciate the assistance
