You are using the Wi-Fi password and not the admin password configured on the extender, correct?
Did you change the Wi-Fi password on the extender after you connected it to the new router? If not, try using the old Wi-Fi password.
When you reset the extender, did you go through the initial setup procedure? If so, what happened? Were you able to set the Wi-Fi password?
