WN2000RPTv3 Network Cable Unplugged sudden error

The model is WN2000RPTv3 but for some reason it wouldn't let me use that above. Hello and thanks for the possible help, I've had this extender for a while with no issues until this morning when I ...

Should I scrap it and invest in a new one? And if so what's the newest version out there?

That is one option.  The WN2000RPT is an older model - 2.4 ghz only, and limited to 802.11n.  Newer extenders would be dual-band or triband, and support 802.11ac.  If your router supports 802.11ac, then you'd see faster speeds in the PC.

The highest performing extender in Netgear's product line is currently the EX8000.

Were you able to re-do the setup?  I suggest using the web browser set up on page 11 of the user manual: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/WN2000RPTV3/WN2000RPTv3_UM_19Oct2015.pdf  You'd do this from the PC that is connected to the extender's ethernet.

If that fails, then try a second reset.
