WN2500RP Extending via ports

Hi,   Hi have 2 WN2500RP extenders for each end of my home with a WNDR3400V2 Dual band router.   I have had so so success with wifi extending with for whatever reaon, the connections to the router...

Yes, what you want to do is set them up in Access Point mode.  Follow the instructions on page 16 of the manual.
