It's not just your router, mine does the exact same thing.
I suspect some poor engineering (hardware or software) and if I can't get it working it's going back to the store and another brand will be replacing it.
Any other thoughts Netgear?

Still no solution to the issue with the extender, having to restart it regularly, daily, only to be able to use for a short period. Any assistance is appreciated.
- SheiweeshMay 19, 2018AspirantYesterday, Friday at the end of the business day my internet connection died on all devices. My WNDR3400 v1 router is no longer picking up DHCP addresses from the cable modem. I changed cables between the router and modem and restarted, kept everything off for some time, but nothing workd. My ISP tried to help troubleshoot and they’re sending me a new modem with a tech who will make sure I get on the internet through the modem. Looking at the D-Link AC5300 to replace the Netgear devices. Very disappointed in Netgear.
