WN3000P security problem with an N300
I'm trying to get a WN3000P to extend a network provided by an N300 router. The N300 is configured with a passphrase 64 bit WEP key (as opposed to a hex key). When I configure the WN3000P I can...

It's WEP and I don't want to change all my devices. It's a home router in a country village... it's not really a security threat (and all the machines inside the network are linux and quite well secured).
It's not not possible to enter the passphrase in the key boxes because they only accept hex.
I think if you use the hex key that's different than the passphrase. I am not sure why it thinks it's working because it's not.
I guess I have to phone support.
