WN3000RP locks up

Mine too. Just installed firmware update so will see how it acts.
Just ran speed test and now speed is half what it was and hale what the WIFI modem the extender is hooked to is putting out. Is the normal? I seem to remember my extender putting out pretty much what the main modem did. Does this have to do with the update?
