WN3000rp v3 compatability with BT Hub 5 Type B

Hi,

I'm trying to link my WN3000rp v3 range extender to my new BT Hub 5 Type B, but so far I have had no success.

A month or so ago, I changed from a Hub 3 to a Hub 5 Type A, and all worked fine with the range extender.

However, after experiencing problems with the Hub 5 Type A, BT have sent me an Type B, and I assumed that the range extender would pick up the signal and work as normal.  That's not the case, and I am beginning to wonder if the WN3000rp v3 is now not compatable.

Has anyone had a similar issue?

Thank you!

  • You will need to reset the extender to factory default and reconfiguire extender, as you are connecting to a new base station.

Perfect!  Thanks very much!  Once I figured out that the extender had to be "on" when pressing the factory reset button (!), it's working fine.

      Thanks again.
