WN3000RP Wifi extender

I cannot connect to the extender from my cable box via ethernet cable even though the wifi is working also checked connecting from my laptop via cable and no connection resetting extender still gives me no joy any suggestions ?

    Hi dinty,

     

    Please provide the following information to help troubleshoot your issue:
    Which router are you using to connect your WN3000RP?
    Can you please verify your extender version (WN3000RPv1, WN3000RPv2, WN3000RPv3) ?
    Is the WN3000RP running the latest firmware?
    If you have another ethernet cable available, can you please use this to test the connections?
