Thanks for your reply. I must say I don't have a computer only one iPad and Smart tv. I'm a brain stroke survivor living in a institucion with out ace to the router I'm paralyzed with very little help. Please say things in plain English because I'm computer illiterate, please try your best. Thank You.

Ok, let's start with a simple question.
Is the name of the extender's Wi-Fi network the same or different than the router's?

I believe it is the same becouse initially everything seemed to be going ok then I lost it but I think it's the same

If it's the same, then you will have to get lucky and hope that your iPad can connect to the network through the extender. Only then will mywifiext.net work.
Try the following. Turn off Wi-Fi on your iPad. Then move it close to the extender, say about 5 to 10 feet away. Then turn Wi-Fi on the iPad and wait for the Wi-Fi connection to establish. Now try to go to mywifiext.net in Safari. With any luck you will connect to the extender's management page.
