WN3000RPv2 Firmaware image missing

Hardware VersionWN3000RPv2
Firmware VersionV1.0.0.36
GUI Language VersionV1.0.0.25

I done a firmware check and it tells me its upto date.....

However if I go to this website  https://www.netgear.com/support/product/WN3000RPv2?cid=wmt_netgear_organic

it tells me version v1.0.2.64

If I download the link I shows a .chk file, but to upload it I need an .img file

If I look in WN3000RPv3 I see the same version but with a .img file, I did try and upload the file but it warns me its the wrong file. I tried to amend to v2 but it still says wrong file.

So how can I get the .img file for v2?  Any help very much appreciated.

And me - I started a new thread about this but it is exactly the same issue. Netgear not listening to us?

    Hello Baggy77

Try uploading a lower version than the current then try doing the current version.

      Hi,

I think I may have the same problem than Baggy77, except my current firmware is older (V1.0.0.26). It is extremelly frustrating!

The appliance looks physically like a v3, but it is written v2 behind, and it says v2 on the web interface. It also says v2 in MyNETGEAR where I registered it with its SN. I downloaded every firmware available for the v2, but they all have a .chk extension, and the web interface of my appliance says it wants a .img extension when I try to upload it. The v3 uses .img extensions, so I tried to upload v3 firmwares: all of them leads me to an error message saying that the firmware is incorrect and that I should check if it is the right version. So here I'm stuck with a non working appliance that I cannot upgrade!

        Hello myvi

Are you having any issues on the older firmware?
