WN3000RPv3 - N300 WiFi Range Extender: Slow Speeds

I have a wireless connection from my main router that is around 75mbps, I have a range extender that is only around 5mbps.  Why is my speed so much slower using the range extender, and how do I fix it?

    Hello sguerrette

     

    Your Speed will never be the same speed as your main router extenders lose up to half the speed. What you can try to do is adjust the wireless channel on your main router.
