WN3000RPv3 Urgent Firmware Update Bug

Was already using firmware V1.0.2.50, says V1.0.2.52 is available, downloaded V1.0.2.52 img, hardwired update, and your V1.0.2.52 is bugged and thinks that it’s V1.0.2.50 still... Around in catch 2...

Finally! Just updated to the new firmware version 1.0.2.52.

Download WN3000RPv3-V1.0.2.52.zip.
Extract WN3000RPv3-V1.0.2.52.img, 3670149 bytes, January 12, 2018, hash:

I don’t mean to sound facetious but maybe I expect more from a multi billion dollar top 500 IT company, joking aside I can see the firmware script is new, but you might wanna change the firmware identity within the .img, delete a 0 add a 2...simples...

Exact same rediculous problem I'm having. Download the xxxx.52 zip file, upzip and see the xxxx.52.img file. Connect ethernet to N300, bring up GUI, go to update, browse to xxxx.52.img file, hit 'GO!!!!' - boom "Sorry Jack! The upgrade version is the same as what's currently running xxx.50. Jokes on you Pal!!"

Come on Netgear - get this fixed!
