My unit is screw to the wall... In the UTM device or others device you can see the serial number by login to the machine.

I was searching for the serial number for precisely the same user when I came across this post. My AP's are fixed to the wall on a remote site so as you can imagine, retreiving the serial numbers to download firmware files would be a challenge. However with a little fiddling I found that if you use the Web Client to confiure a WNDAP350 then find and switch on Telnet Remote Console (you find that under the Maintenance tab) you can then use a Telnet console to view the current configuration. Then key 'show system' to find the serial number. I expect that this information is far too late to help benjacobs however if other people who are searching for a solution to this come across this post then I hope this saves them the hassle of removing the AP's as it did me.
